THE JODIE KIDD FOUNDATION MONSOON ACCESSORIZE TRUST The Monsoon Accessorize Trust was founded in 1994 to celebrate Monsoon’s 21st birthday and was originally called ‘The Monsoon Trust’. This was changed in 2006 to reflect the hugh contribution made by everyone in Accessorize. The Trust helps improve the lives of women and children with projects focusing on education, healthcare and income generation. The Trust is a registered charity(registered charity number 1038446) and every penny donated to the Trust goes to the projects. The Trust focuses on projects to alleciate poverty in Asia, reflecting Monsoon Accessorizes long standing relationship with the region. We are currently supporting projects in India and Afghanistan and in 2008 China too. Working initally with one small school for slum children in Delhi(Vidya) the Trust now supports a variety of different projects including funding and immunisation program, skills training for women, providing education materials for children, a dispensary, educationl facilities for deaf children.
